Effective August 16, 2026. RetirementTaxIndex is designed so calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. The site does not require an account and does not send calculator values to a RetirementTaxIndex database.

Hosting and logs

The hosting provider may process IP address, browser, device, request, and security-log information needed to deliver and protect the site. Those records are governed by the provider's retention and security practices.

Analytics and shared links

Shared calculator links can contain the values visible in the link. Do not share a URL containing information you consider sensitive. If analytics is enabled, it may measure page views, referrers, campaign parameters, approximate location, and device information. Calculator field values are not intentionally sent as analytics events.

Advertising cookies

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other sites.
